Cup Standings is an independent fan site. It is not associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NASCAR.
Results load live from NASCAR's public timing and scoring feeds; 1968-2016 results from nascaR.data (DriverAverages.com). Driver photos from NASCAR and Wikipedia. Historical formats are recalculations of this season, not official NASCAR standings. Money-based systems (1949-1967, 1974) cannot be recalculated because NASCAR no longer publishes race purses.
